Educating is a life-long experience
Our industry is constantly changing and evolving, and to keep our team up-to-date, it’s critical that our associates are continually learning and growing. We’re proud to offer extensive ongoing education and training for the Lansing team.
Lansing offers a variety of in-person training for many of our associates. Lansing University features “Selling the Lansing Way,” a 3-day training workshop for new sales associates. For new branch managers, we conduct Lansing University 2 with “Leading the Lansing Way.”
On an annual basis, we also hold our National Sales Meeting, a 3-day training meeting for all outside sales associates and branch managers, as well as regional meetings. We also hold our branch operations manager training each year.
In addition to face-to-face training, we are also proud to offer Lansing Learning Online, our eLearning Platform. Available to our associates are stand-alone courses on multiple topics for professional development. Every new branch associate has an online curriculum to step through with manager check-points to ensure personal mentoring from their direct supervisor.
Weekly Branch Meetings
Taking it one step further, each branch manager chooses training topics to discuss with their branch team on a weekly basis.
