STRIKE!

The Home Office team recently had some fun, while raising money for charity. The local baseball organization (Richmond Flying Squirrels, farm team for San Francisco Giants) provided LBP an opportunity to have one associate throw out the first pitch at a game. The decision was made that versus just assigning someone, a raffle drawing would be held. Raffle tickets were sold for $1 each, and individuals then listed the name of the team member they’d like to see throw out the pitch on the back.

Over the course of several weeks tickets were purchased and the winning name drawn a few days in advance of game night — to allow for at least a little practice. There was a buzz of excitement as folks bought their tickets and made their selections. It was fun trying to predict who would be chosen!

Everyone gathered together in great anticipation for the name drawing……. And the winner selected was…… ROB CASSADA. There were 141 home office associates and their family members in the stands June 2 to cheer him on. Rob did a GREAT job with his pitch and in representing our great company. What a special experience for Rob, and everyone participating greatly enjoyed the game. Even better, $202 was raised from the raffle ticket sales to support local charities.
