Sharpening Our Skills

This month I traveled to multiple Regional Meetings to spend time connecting with associates from Lansing’s branches across the country.

Our time together provided the opportunity to discuss achieving our annual goals, in addition to reviewing the first half of the year.

An energetic portion of the meetings included training activities with our sales associates focusing on sharpening their communication skills, maximizing time, and anticipating needs to ensure we give our customers the best possible service.

Our commitment to providing excellent training at Lansing is key to being an admired company to work and build a career. It best prepares us to give customers a “WOW” experience.

A quote my father, Chris, shares with others is from former McDonald’s CEO Ray Kroc, “When you’re green you grow and when you’re ripe you rot.”  The message is simple: never stop learning.
