One To Watch

One of our own was recently recognized by ProSales Magazine, the premier publication for our industry. I’m excited to share that Matt Equinoa, Branch Manager for our Portland, OR location, was selected as one of their 2019 ProSales Four Under 40. This is a designation they reserve for those they identify as rising stars from across the industry.

Matt joined the Lansing team in 2015, taking on the task of opening our greenfield location in Portland. Reflecting on his start Matt notes he might not have had substantial people management experience, but he brought a desire to be a servant leader and coach, working shoulder-to-shoulder with his team members. That desire, combined with his intense drive to win, set the branch on the fast path to success.

In selecting Matt for this award, ProSales noted his leadership style, combined with his use of technology, such as CRM software, construction monitoring tools, quoting software, and social media. Under Matt’s direction the Portland branch has experienced double-digit sales growth every year since its opening and enjoys a 75% annual customer retention rate.
