As the year comes to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on the Lansing legacy—not just the business itself, but the legacy of the generations who came before me.
Seventy years as a family-owned company is something I’m deeply grateful for. What matters even more to me is the legacy of leadership, service, and people-first values my grandfather and father worked to build, and that so many Lansing associates have carried forward over the years.
Recently, my dad and I sat down for a conversation reflecting on Lansing’s history, the challenges each generation has faced, and the responsibility of stewarding this company into the future. It was meaningful to look back and be reminded of what should never change in a world that is constantly changing.
At the end of the day, Lansing has always been about people and relationships. That legacy is something I’m proud to help preserve and one I don’t take lightly. I hope you enjoy this conversation with my dad as much as I did.
As we look ahead to 2026, I’m grateful for those who have helped build this company and for the opportunity to continue carrying that legacy forward.
