The Founder’s Award

An annual highlight of our National Sales Meeting is the presentation of the Founder’s Award, the highest honor awarded to a Lansing associate who has best exemplified the values and spirit of the founder of our company, my grandfather Ted Lansing.

I was thrilled to recognize our Chief Development Officer John Witt as the Founder’s Award recipient this year.

It is fitting John’s last name is Witt. With his charm, friendly nature, and quick wit, John possesses a unique ability to understand and relate to everyone he meets. In traveling and working with John for over 30 years, he has never met a stranger.  Whether you have known him for 30 seconds or 30 years, you cannot help but like him.

There is more to John than his infectious and engaging personality. Since 1986, John has been developing, leading, and inspiring people within our business. He is Lansing’s coach, leading and supporting our associates with passion and excitement to help us accomplish all our goals. He lives our purpose every day of making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Even after 37 years of success, John continuously says: “the best is yet to come.”

There is no slowing down my friend and colleague!
