A recent article was published in Inc. Magazine that noted a shift in how businesses view their purpose. According to the Business Roundtable (a group of CEOs from around the country), businesses are now starting to focus less on the bottom line and more on creating value for associates, vendors, and the community. This is in direct line of what Lansing stands for – the Why Do We Exist? – to make a positive impact in people’s lives. It is stated clearly in our mission that we show respect for our associates, customers, and suppliers, give our customers the best possible service, and achieve excellence in everything we do. It is great to see more businesses follow these standards. I am excited and proud of the Mission of Lansing Building Products and I look forward to continuing this level of excellence.
