Making a Positive Impact

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for the gifts in our lives.

In that gratitude, it is important to find opportunities to make a positive impact in the life of someone else.

Lansing’s Richmond Home Office in November collected 520 pounds of donations for FeedMore, an amazing organization dedicated to feeding our neighbors across 29 counties in Virginia.

Hunger affects people from all walks of life. One out of every nine individuals in Central Virginia faces hunger – more than 50,000 people. Across the United States, food insecurity affects over 34 million people, including 9 million children.

Our donations will help Feedmore create over 400 meals.

Our Home Office associates in Waltham, Massachusetts are currently donating toys and gift cards for Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization with the mission to build strong, stable, and secure military families in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront’s Toy Drive helps bring holiday cheer to veteran, wounded, and active-duty military families.

I am proud of our associates’ commitment to showing gratitude and spreading joy.
