The framed picture in our Columbus conference room is of the crowd in Tempe Arizona on January 3^rd, 2003 when Ohio State defeated the University of Miami in double overtime. Underneath the picture in bold print reads, “National Champions.” Of course, there’s been another national title since as the Buckeyes have enjoyed a rich culture and long history of winning. But OSU isn’t the only organization in Columbus with rich culture and generations of winning history. Earlier this week I spent some time with our team in Columbus which is made up of both experienced and new talent. As I followed our operations manager, Dale, around the warehouse, the old expression, “you could eat off the floor” certainly applied and the depth of inventory to our core product categories of gutter, vinyl and fiber cement were proudly on display. Double checking orders and neatly packaging material so it arrives on the jobsite organized, clean and ready for install is a team priority. But you won’t find LBP helmet stickers adhered to anything, just commitment and pride that we are living our mission statement and delivering excellence to our customers each day.
